Meet Dr. Yang
Dr. Yang was born in Beijing, China. At age of 12, he moved to Oklahoma to study in the USA.
Dr. Yang attended the University of Oklahoma with full academic scholarship and graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA. After graduation, he studied at the Baylor College of Dentistry and finished 1st in his class with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed his orthodontic education at the prestigious St. Louis University.
He made Houston home, because he loves the Texas hospitality and the amazing food culture! Soon, he created Modern Orthodontist. His goal was to create a patient-first approach, offering everything from Saturday hours to affordable payment plans.
Beyond Orthodontics
In his spare time. Dr. Yang enjoys playing with his puppy “Boba”, crossfiting, and traveling. He is also a skiing enthusiast and will frequent Utah and Colorado in the winter months!
